In the short clip, Gachagua is seen making comments about setting traps in and around State House to prevent Raila Odinga from approaching President Ruto.

The Deputy President expressed his determination to protect Ruto from any advances by the veteran opposition leader.

In the video, Gachagua also expressed gratitude to the residents for their support during the 2022 General Election, acknowledging their votes for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

He reassured them that he is dedicated to safeguarding the president and maintaining a secure perimeter around State House to thwart any attempts by Raila to gain access.

“Hiyo mniwachie. Kazi ya kuchunga rais mimi niko hapo. Hiyo watu wakijaribu kukaribia state house nimeweka mitego kila njia wanaeza pitia. Hakuna pahali wanaweza pitia. Kwa hivyo nyinyi msikuwe na wasi wasi. Nataka niseme asante,” Gachagua said in the video.
