The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has released the list of successful presidential candidates in the August 9 general election (IEBC).
According to the letter seen by topnews.co.ke , only four presidential candidates met the required constitutional and statutory requirements and were cleared to run for the presidency by the IEBC.
Only four candidates were cleared from among the 56 submissions.
The names of the successful candidates are as follows:
1). David Mwaure Wahiga – Agano party
2). Prof. George Wachackoyah – roots Party
3. Raila Amollo Odinga – Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party
4). Deputy President William Somei Ruto – Kenya Kwanza Coalition.(UDA Party)
