Raila Odinga, the Azimio presidential candidate in the previous August 9 elections, has been cautioned that President William Ruto is not like his predecessors Presidents Uhuru Kenyatta and the late President Mwai Kibaki, who are reported to have welcomed the ODM leader into their governments.
Dr. Edward Kisiang’ani, a political analyst and lecturer at Kenyatta University, has cautioned Raila that Ruto is unlike the other presidents.
According to Dr Kisiang’ani, Raila intends to have his way into the government through the means of chaos.
The university lecturer made this statement in response to Raila’s attack on the judiciary on Thursday, when he vowed to rally his fans, walk to the judiciary offices, and order some “rogue” judges to leave their offices.
He thinks Raila want to force his way into the government by trying to remove the judges
Dr. Kisiang’ani, however, has cautioned Raila that Ruto is not Kibaki or Uhuru, who ultimately accepted him into their governments after he organized protests.
“Azimio leader Raila Odinga is at it again! He thrives on chaos. He is threatening a one million man march on the Judiciary to illegally force his way into govt just like he did under the Kibaki and Uhuru regimes. It won’t just work now! Ruto is neither Kibaki nor Uhuru,” he tweeted.
After the disastrous instability of 2007–2008, Raila and Kibaki established the nusu–mkate government. He later shook hands with President Uhuru, and they cooperated to the point where Uhuru backed him in the August 9 general election, which William Ruto ultimately won
