Prof Kithure Kindiki and his brother, Prof Isaiah Kindiki, have both been named chief agents for Kenya Kwanza and Azimio.

Both Professor Kithure and Professor Isaiah are brothers who represent opposing political parties.

Prof Kithure was one of the frontrunners to be Ruto’s running mate.

Both professors, the siblings will now compete in the Azimio and Kenya Kwanza camps for the hope of winning in August 9 elections.

The IEBC cleared DP Ruto to run for presidency on Saturday, while former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was cleared on Sunday to contest in the August 9 general elections.

Raila and Ruto appointed these two brothers to their national chief agent’s team after receiving their nomination certificates.

Kenya Kwanza nominated Professor Kithure Kindiki as DP Ruto’s chief agent in the August 9 general elections on Saturday.

Prof Kindiki will be assisted by Veronica Maina, the Secretary General of the UDA Party and Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok.

Raila Odinga named Professor Isaiah Kindiki to deputize lawyer Saitabao Sanchory in the August general elections on Sunday.

“As a national chief agent, I have nominated lawyer Saitabao Sanchory, who will be assisted by Dr Carolyne Karugu, Prof Isaiah wa Kindiki, Dr Oduor Ongwen, and my legal advisor Paul Mwangi,” Raila stated.
