On Monday, June 13, 2022, the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) announced a Kes.100,000 naming competition for a new multi-storey office building.
PSC Director General Clement Nyandiere requested Kenyans to offer names for the Parliament annexe in a statement seen by Topnews.co.ke.
Nyandiere pointed out that the recommendations had to be consistent with the noble legislative function that Parliament does for the nation.
The competition seeks to select candidates whose names reflect the ideal for appropriate representation and the function of Parliament in society.
It is also encouraged to use names that honor underrepresented groups in the legislature, particularly women or minority groups that have achieved significant strides but have not received the proper historical acknowledgment.

All proposals should be submitted by June 20, 2022, at 11:00 AM, either online to both dg@parliament.go.ke and procurementpjs@parliament.go.ke or physically dropped in the tender box located on the fourth floor, protection house.
