Receiving a call that suggests their child may have experienced something terrible is every parent’s worst nightmare.
That was the case for Shanta, who claimed in a TikTok video that her daughter’s school had called her urgently to inform her that her daughter had been interacting with someone they presumed to be a total stranger.
Shanta found out the truth, but it turned out to be more amusing than alarming.
According to Shanta’s daughter’s school, her daughter has been leaving with a “strange man” every day without her mother’s knowledge.
According to Shanta in her video, she received a call from her daughter’s school that made her worry right away.
She was informed by school officials that her daughter was frequently leaving school after class with a “strange man,” who wasn’t her father or anyb other male family members.
“I was trembling, I mean, my heart was just beating outside of my chest,” says Shanta in a video.
Shanta went on to say that she had repeatedly requested that her daughter’s school get in touch with her right away if she was leaving with anyone who wasn’t a member of her immediate family.
“They described this man, they said he was tall, stubby, looked like he was out of shape, his hair was fragile, he had a light mustache,” She continued, saying she was “shaking” with fear throughout the entire incident.
She inquired at her daughter’s school as to whether they had any evidence of the man she was leaving with, and they sent over photos of her daughter and the stranger.
“My heart started beating, I started whimpering, I was shocked.”
But when Shanta saw the pictures, she was shocked to see that the strange man the school had described was really just her without the wig.
“It was me without my wig,” she said. “It was me, y’all.”
