“Mass action has begun,” says former Chief Justice after Protests were witnessed along Parliament.

A group of young people protested over the rising cost of living today outside Nairobi County’s Parliament building.

After police used tear gas to disperse the protesters, comedian turned activist Eric Omondi was arrested.

Taking to his twitter account, Former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Kenya, Dr Willy Mutunga warned of a Looming mass action.

He said, “Mass action has begun. Uprising is on the horizon. Great political opportunity for alternative political leadership in Kenya. That is devoid of the political viruses of both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza”.
