Infotrak Polls:  Raila is ahead of Ruto in the State House Race

  • According to Infotrak findings, the UDA is the most popular political party with 35%, followed by the ODM with 34%.
  • If elections were conducted today, the survey predicted Raila would receive 42% of the total votes while DP William Ruto would receive 38%.
  • In Nairobi County, Raila has a popularity rating of 50%, whereas Ruto has a rating of 30%.

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s term ends on August 9, 2022, and DP Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga are the current favorites to succeed him.

On August 9th, the two long-time rivals will face off in Kenya’s fifth presidential election.

On June 8, 2022, Infotrak released the findings of their current presidential polls.

The much-anticipated results were announced on Wednesday afternoon by the firm that has been conducting presidential surveys in prior elections for the longest time.

Raila Odinga is the candidate with the most support, according to Infotrak  findings.

According to the poll, Raila Odinga has 42% of Kenyans’ support, while DP Ruto has 38%.

If elections were conducted today, the survey predicted Raila would receive 9.3 million votes and DP William Ruto 8.4 million.

According to the findings of the Infotrak poll, 19 percent of people are undecided, while 1 % will prefer voting for others candidates

Region Popularity:

Raila Odinga has 49%, 49 %, 41 %, 73%, 48 %, and 50%  lead over Ruto in the Coast, North Eastern, Lower Eastern, Nyanza, Western, and Nairobi regions, according to Infotrak results.

In Mount Kenya, the North Rift, and the South Rift regions, DP Ruto is a head of Raila with 52 percent, 56 percent, and 59 percent respectively.

Most Kenyans feel UDA is the most popular political party, with 35 %, followed by ODM with 34 %, Jubilee with 4%, and WDM-K with 2% according to Infotrak polls.

In Nairobi County:

Raila has a popularity rating of 50%, whereas Ruto has a rating of 30% while Undecided voters and other candidates has 18% and 2% respectively.

Battleground–according to infotrak

According to Infotrak, the battleground areas include Turkana,Kwale,Tana River,Lamu,Kajiado, and Bungoma, among others.

The question of who will win the August general election remains in the hands of Kenyans, but undecided votes will be crucial in determining who wins the presidency in the August 9 general election.
