A Japan Airlines aircraft experienced a terrifying incident as it burst into flames upon landing at Tokyo’s Haneda airport. National broadcaster NHK reported the event, capturing footage of the passenger jet moving and subsequently engulfed in a massive fireball.

Fortunately, all occupants were successfully evacuated, using emergency slides amid the growing flames.

Approximately 400 passengers and crew were on board the flight, identified as Japan Airlines flight 516, which had departed from New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido.

NHK also mentioned a reported collision with a Japan Coast Guard aircraft during landing.

CNN is in the process of seeking additional details from officials to provide further insights into the incident. FlightAware, a flight tracking site, identified the aircraft as an Airbus A350-900.
