Former Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has broken her silence on the culminating intrigues surrounding Azimio One Kenya Coalition political oblivion months after the August 9 polls.
Speaking yesterday, Ngilu revealed that she was misled not to run for re-election as Kitui Governor and was promised a cabinet secretary slot if Azimio one Kenya Alliance could won the August elections, which she realized too late.
“I was misled not to seek re-election as Kitui Governor, I realised too late that Azimio will not win election, but we were forced to push on and campaign for a lost project.” Ngilu stated
” We all knew from the word go that Raila will lose to William Ruto, the outcome was obvious that Ruto will be elected president,” she continued
Former Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has also commented on ongoing anti-government campaigns led by the Azimio camp, claiming that the campaigns are illegal and a disgrace to our nation, with the goal of forcing a “handshake.”
“The current maadamano by Azimio is not only illegal but disgrace to our Nation, the purported IEBC Whistle blower and Hacklers are just lies to force Handshake.”
Ngilu has distanced herself from Azimio’s anti-government campaigns, stating that she will not be a part of those who want to destroy Kenya for their own selfish interests.
” I won’t be part of the people who want to destroy Kenya for their selfish interests” Charity Ngilu added
