DP Rigathi Gachagua, never one to mince words, decided to shed light on his conversation with Raila Odinga during their meeting at the KICC in Nairobi, a moment that took place against the backdrop of the Africa Climate Summit.
During their interaction, it is reported that DP Rigathi Gachagua shared his belief with the opposition leader that President William Ruto’s administration is actively working to ensure his future well-being and a comfortable retirement, potentially leading him to Bondo.

“Mr. President, I must firmly decline this proposal. We cannot continue to allow the threat of street protests to hang over us. It’s time we put an end to their actions before their countdown even reaches zero,” declared DP Rigathi.
He also criticized Raila Odinga, characterizing him as a fair-weather friend. Despite having greeted and respected him at various events, DP Rigathi Gachagua made it clear that he is prepared to confront Raila if he attempts to resume street protests.
