LSK President Demands Investigation into Claims of Bodies Found Near Kware Police Station

On Friday, approximately nine bodies were retrieved from a quarry-turned-dumpsite in Mukuru Kwa Njenga and transported to Nairobi’s City Mortuary.

The bodies, found stashed in sacks, were discovered by local youths who, with assistance from Kware Police Station officers, removed them from the site.

Faith Odhiambo, President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), has demanded an investigation into the alarming incident.

Residents of Mukuru Kwa Njenga were shocked to find human bodies disposed of in a nearby quarry. According to human rights activists, the youths began parading the bodies outside the scene after stumbling upon them.

A social justice group in the area reported that some of the remains had been dismembered before being placed in the bags.

The Mukuru Community Justice Centre indicated that the site is located near the Kware Police Station.

State law enforcers arrived at the scene to manage the situation.

According to The Standard, nine bodies were taken to the City Mortuary, and the search for more bodies is ongoing.

Meanwhile, Kenyans, horrified by the gruesome discovery, have called for swift action from the authorities.
