Fred had planned to spend his weekend in Meru, as he shared on his Instagram stories earlier. His sudden death has left fans and fellow comedians in deep shock and sorrow.

Terence Creative, mourning Fred’s loss, described him as more than a colleague, saying, “He was family. We shared the stage many times, and he played a significant role in my career growth. Together, we faced hardships, learned, inspired, made people laugh, and created great memories. I will cherish all of this dearly.”

Millicent Omanga, Ministry of Interior CAS, expressed her condolences on X, saying, “The creative industry has lost a gem. Fred Omondi brightened our homes with his captivating comedy. His tragic death in a road accident is deeply saddening. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”

Musician Nameless also expressed his grief, saying, “This is overwhelming… life is so fragile. Rest in peace, Fred. Such heartbreaking news. My deepest condolences to the family.”
