Visitor Suffers Arm Fracture After Leaping from Fourth Floor in Embu Town

In an unexpected turn of events on Saturday night, a 25-year-old man identified as Daniel Mwinzi experienced a harrowing accident, resulting in a fractured arm.

The incident unfolded within the confines of a rental building located in Sunrise Estate, Embu Town.

Chief Sammy Njagi of Kamiu location recounted his response to the distress call, stating, “I visited the scene and found the man, whose name I was able to establish, writhing in pain and holding his left arm. He had apparently sustained a fracture.”

According to Chief Njagi, “The man was in the company of a woman with whom they had spent last night partying at a nearby nightclub. It is not really clear why he jumped.”

Reports suggest that Mwinzi had been visiting a female acquaintance when the incident occurred.

Speculations arose regarding his motive for the sudden and risky jump, with some suggesting he may have been attempting to flee the woman’s residence.

Chief Njagi disclosed that the man and the woman had spent the previous night reveling at a nearby nightclub before ending up at the woman’s place.

The exact circumstances leading to Mwinzi’s decision to leap from the balcony remain unclear, adding an air of mystery to the incident.

Embu police swiftly responded to the scene and promptly transported the injured man to Embu Level Five Hospital for medical attention.

Meanwhile, authorities have initiated an investigation, including questioning the woman who owns the residence where the incident occurred, in an effort to piece together the events leading up to the unfortunate accident.
