Stephen Kirui, a Naivasha Police officer, confirmed the grim outcome, stating, “The British national who was visiting the country and one male died on the spot while their driver was seriously injured and was admitted to the sub-county hospital.”
The victims’ car veered from its lane, colliding with a lorry near Naivasha, leaving them deceased on the scene. While the driver sustained severe injuries and received medical attention at the sub-county hospital, the lorry’s co-driver miraculously emerged unscathed.
Police authorities transported the bodies to the Naivasha sub-county hospital mortuary, initiating further investigations into the tragic incident. As the British woman’s family awaits notification, preparations are underway to repatriate her body to her home country.
