Faith Moi Takes Legal Action, Requests Ksh.2.5M for Son’s Medical Expenses

In Summary:

  • Faith Moi seeks Ksh.2.5M for her son’s medical bills, alleging exclusion from Moi’s estate and lack of transparency from administrators.

Nairobi ,Feb 6, (TopNews) – Faith Moi, the daughter-in-law of the late President Daniel arap Moi, has filed a court petition seeking Ksh.2.5 million to cover her son’s medical bills. As the widow of the late Jonathan Kipkemboi Moi, Faith alleges that her family members have sidelined her children from the considerable estate left by Moi.

Her legal representative asserts that Faith is urging the court to compel the administrator of Moi’s estate to release the funds for medical expenses while awaiting the resolution of an inheritance dispute.

Faith accuses the executor’s lawyer, Zehrabhanu Janmohamed, of withholding information regarding Moi’s assets and alleges collusion with some of Moi’s sons against her interests.

Additionally, Faith’s lawyer highlights that despite the family’s financial resources, Faith has resorted to seeking financial support for her child through a pay bill number due to the lack of cooperation from the estate’s administrators.
