A head-on collision between an oil tanker truck and a lorry near Awasi on the Kisumu-Nairobi Highway resulted in the death of the oil tanker truck driver, who was traveling to Nairobi.
According to Nyanza Regional Traffic Boss Joseph Ng’an’ga, both the lorry driver and turnboy were unharmed in the collision.
He also added that two motor vehicles caught fire as a result of it.
Ng’ang’a said that efforts are currently being made to remove the deceased’s body from the wreckage.
