Jubilee Party has submitted some notable names for nomination in the Senate and National Assembly.
Even so, they submitted their list of nominees after the others had already done so.
According to Nation Kenya, there are three notable names on the Jubilee Party nomination list.
1.) Sabina Chege
The outgoing Muranga woman representative is set to be nominated to the national assembly.
She chose not to run for re-election, citing a desire to focus on Raila’s Statehouse campaign.
Her sacrifice appears to have paid off. If Azimio forms the next government, she may find herself on a more important docket.
2.) Governor Anne Kananu
Nairobi Governor,Anne Kananu Mwenda is set to be nominated to the senate.
She decided not to run for Nairobi governor after an agreement with the Jubilee party.
She has decided to support Polycarp Igathe’s bid for Nairobi governorship.
3.) Kristina Patt Kenyatta
Kristina Wambui Kenyatta, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s sister, is another name.
She has also been nominated for Senate. Others’ names are still to be revealed.
