Teenage Boy Kills Cousin in Phone Charging Argument

Police in Kaimosi, Nandi County, have launched a manhunt for a 17-year-old suspect who is accused of killing his cousin on Sunday following a dispute about charging a phone.

Preliminary investigations, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), showed that the two got into a violent disagreement about who would start charging their phone first.

“Preliminary investigations indicate that the two had argued over who would charge their phone first, before the young man reached for an arrow, and stabbed the deceased on the left side of his chest before taking off,” DCI stated
