According to recent TIFA opinion polls, Prof. George Wajackoya’s Roots party is the third most popular in Nairobi.
According to the findings, the ODM party has 30% support, while DP Ruto’s UDA party has 22%
Professor’s Party comes in third with 4%,Jubilee party with 4% followed by Kalonzo’s Party with 3%.
Beating the established wiper party is no small feat for the roots party, which was founded not long time ago.
Professor Wajackoya has been making headlines since he was cleared by the IEBC to run for the presidency on August 9 due to his plans to legalize marijuana.
According to the professor, the medicinal weed can be sold abroad to help with foreign debt repayment.
According to Tifa opinion polls, if elections were held today, Raila Odinga would take 50% support in Nairobi County, followed by DP Ruto with 25 % and George Wajackoyah with 7 %.
Tifa Polls have revealed that the Azimio la umoja coalition has 46% support in the city, while the Kenya kwanza coalition has 25%.
The question now is whether Wajackoya will be able to force a runoff election on August 9. It’s a wait and see situation.
