Relief for Unga and LPG but Wines and Spirits Face Higher Taxes
1) Beer with an alcohol concentration greater than 6% will be subject to excise duty at the rate of Ksh.134 per litre, up from Ksh.121.85.
2) Wines will be subject to duty at the rate of Ksh.229 per litre, up from the existing rate of Ksh.208.20.
3) The VAT on LPG is reduced from 16% to 8%.
