DP Ruto campaigned in Makueni County on Thursday, June 2, 2022, with the Kenya Kwanza team of Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua, and UDA Candidates.
Residents of Makueni were introduced to DP Ruto’s bottom-up economic model.
Dr. Alfred Mutua, the Governor of Machakos, claimed that Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka had been duped by the Azimio team and asked Wote residents in Makueni County to vote for DP Ruto in August 9 elections
Governor Mutua told citizens of Wote in Makueni county that if Raila Odinga’s Azimio-One Kenya Coalition wins the August 9 elections, President Uhuru Kenyatta will benefit the most.
Governor Mutua further stated that the Jubilee party will receive 50% of the Azimio-One Kenya government.
He went on to say that the remaining 50% will be split between Raila and his team, which includes MP Junet Mohamed and Ali Hassan Joho among others, and that the five cabinet appointments Wiper is seeking from Raila will be tough to obtain.
Azimio la Umoja has also stated that if Raila is unable to offer Kalonzo Musyoka five ministries, he will not be paid.

Kenya Kwanza claims that DP Ruto has offered him several ministries and high-ranking jobs if he wins the August elections.
He urged Makueni residents to support Kenya Kwanza and ignore Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
