· Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka will not run for president in August 9.

· I accept my nomination as Chief Minister, declares Kalonzo.

The leader of the Wiper Party had been keeping Kenyans guessing for a while after announcing that he will run for president in the August General Elections to replace president Uhuru, who is stepping down after serving two constitutional terms.

After abandoning Azimio – One Kenya a few weeks ago, Kalonzo Musyoka declared his return to the coalition today, promising to completely devote himself to the coalition and achieve what is required of him.

During his speech, he wished Martha Karua the best of luck in her new job, which he had been eyeing before Raila Odinga declared his second-in-command in the coalition.

Kalonzo Musyoka was accompanied by KANU leader Gideon Moi for the announcement, who was pleased with the OKA boss’s decision.
