Governor Ngilu has hinted that she may abandon her governorship campaign in favor of David Musila.

Charity Ngilu, the governor of Kitui, has hinted at abandoning her governorship ambition in favor of Musila, a Jubilee contender.

Charity Ngilu has made her intentions known for the future, and she may enter national politics now that wiper leader Kalonzo has left Azimio.

Raila named Kalonzo as Chief Cabinet Secretary, while Martha Karua was picked as running mate.

Governor Ngilu has stated that she has spoken with David Musila about the roles that they would hold.

Ngilu is seeking for the job that Raila gave to OKA Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, claiming that such a role belongs to the community and not to Kalonzo Musyoka personally, and that she was free to run it.

Kitui Governor has stated that she will maintain her integrity and will not be moved. She has maintained her self-assurance in her position, indicating that she will stand strong and solid, particularly when it comes to issues that impact her personally.

It’s a wait-and-see situation as to whether Ngilu would follow through on her demands and stop defending her Governorship seat ahead of the August 9th election.

Governor Ngilu, for example, prefers to serve the country at the national level rather than competing at the county level to provide Musila with a more exciting playing field.
